Oh, there's a guy who walks four corgis right around the time we're waiting for the school bus in the morning, and the kids LOVE them. They're adorable, and really friendly and patient with the girls, too.

Corgis shed like unto the devil.
They are nice dogs, but they shed a LOT.
I wouldn't be a good friends if I didn't point this out.
They also very much need a job (like herding cats), and have dense, oily fur that becomes very, um, fragrant in the damp or rain.
You have to have several corgis together, like the Queen, right??
If one has the STAFF the Queen has, sure.
And smonster is correct about the fragrance. OTOH, Arthur is very good in the bathtub, is smart and is friendly and trainable.
