Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

I was not a huge fan of Rose, though I didn't dislike her. I liked her better with Nine than with Ten. I liked Martha a lot.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I like Rose just fine. No one is quite as awesome as Donna, though Martha comes close.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Martha rocked it. But I am totally Dana in this. I liked Rose, but Donna is the best.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Jen's opinion of Rose is similar to mine. I liked her much better with Nine than Ten.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I like Rose, but I like Martha and Donna better, too.

For some reason, my memories of Nine are hazy. I need to rewatch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Donna is so fucking awesome, it amazes me. I like Martha close second best, then...well, I don't dislike Rose, but you'll meet Amy soon enough and I like her more. Of the chick companions, anyway. Trying to rank them with the boys makes things confusing.

brillig

Are there bicycles out there for giant out of shape people without good balance?

They make three-wheelers for grownups. Not the easiest things to stash, I imagine, but no balance worries, and they've got cargo space behind the rider.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sumi, try a cruiser or a European city bike. They're meant for not-fast rides on paved roads, not for racing or trails. They let you sit up instead of hunching over the handlebars. REI sells some cruiser bikes suitable, as do some other places. City bikes might be harder to find, but worth checking out. I don't think you need a larger bike, just something easy to handle and comfortable to sit on - look for a wider seat. Go someplace with people who know bikes who can help you find the right one, and definitely try before you buy.
