You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Are there bicycles out there for giant out of shape people without good balance?

They make three-wheelers for grownups. Not the easiest things to stash, I imagine, but no balance worries, and they've got cargo space behind the rider.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sumi, try a cruiser or a European city bike. They're meant for not-fast rides on paved roads, not for racing or trails. They let you sit up instead of hunching over the handlebars. REI sells some cruiser bikes suitable, as do some other places. City bikes might be harder to find, but worth checking out. I don't think you need a larger bike, just something easy to handle and comfortable to sit on - look for a wider seat. Go someplace with people who know bikes who can help you find the right one, and definitely try before you buy.

Oh, yeah, Donna is by far, far, far, far, far my favorite companion. Amy has grown on me. Rory is pure love. I didn't know how much msbelle knew about what/who was to come, so I just kept to the first two. Donna and Ten were so awesome together. Donna was so awesome just as Donna.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

They make three-wheelers for grownups.

I want one of those SO MUCH.

Donna is the best, Amy (and Rory) and Martha tie, and Rose is last in terms of companions for the Doctor. And I think little Amelia Pond would have been the best of them all.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

How Many Stephen Colberts Are There?

There used to be just two Stephen Colberts, and they were hard enough to distinguish. The main difference was that one thought the other was an idiot. The idiot Colbert was the one who made a nice paycheck by appearing four times a week on “The Colbert Report” (pronounced in the French fashion, with both t’s silent), the extremely popular fake news show on Comedy Central. The other Colbert, the non-idiot, was the 47-year-old South Carolinian, a practicing Catholic, who lives with his wife and three children in suburban Montclair, N.J., where, according to one of his neighbors, he is “extremely normal.”

Art Crawl!!!

Thanks, guys!

I prefer Rose with 9 over Ten.

I like Donna - but also Martha. With Ten. (It would be interesting to see them with 11 or 9, wouldn't it?) I mean, one of the reasons why Donna is such a good companion is that she is a buddy not somebody with a crush or somebody that the Doctor is crushing on, you know? It got tired.

Punishingly Intricate

Are there bicycles out there for giant out of shape people without good balance? You know, so I could maybe get back into shape without screwing up my feet more?

Yes! Of course. I'd actually recommend getting the lightest weight bike you feel comfortable on. A cruiser may be comfortable but they are way heavier than a hybrid or a road bike and if you really want to be easy on your knees go light! It may take a bit to get used to, if you haven't ridden in a while, but you don't really need great balance to do fine on a bike! Get a helmet that fits and wear it EVERY TIME YOU RIDE. You may fall but you'll be fine!

I'm happy to provide other tips and lots of encouragement!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm happy for Erin that Wordnik seems to have a pretty good deal with the NYT--that's some profile, dammit.

However, I WANT MY RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON BACK. I want to be able to select text from their articles and do with it what I want with the right mouse button. Wordnik is cool, but it's only one place, and it's not a full resource. I want to be able to decide if I'm searching Wikipedia or IMDB or a Google image search.

I hate when sites take over those menus from the browser. The browser should be the dominant application.
