I had no idea oxford comma was such an issue (how was I an eldest, not a middle?)
Market. In 8 hours. Will do. WITH CAFFEINE!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Banach Tarski. [link]
Edit: a few quick scenes that could be nsfw. Also, music. And silly math jokes.
Oooh! Jilli, Google is celebrating Chas. Addams 100th birthday!
Dana! Your boy--narrow escape!
I cannot pretend to understand the Banach Tarski theorem, but I can pick up enough to get why the video is funny, so I call that a win. Also, many, many oranges is funny.
I have opinions about phrasing and whatnot, but, eh. They're probably predictable, anyway, and I'm sleepy.
My mother was lamenting how she had spent too much on e-books recently (and, dayum, she was right!), so imagine how happy she was to learn of this "borrowing e-books from the library" concept. You all are rock stars in her estimation, just so you know. I won't claim that I've never not given credit to the hive mind so I'd come off looking all smarty-pants to my every-day 3D peeps... but this time I did credit you.
We're getting her a library card tomorrow!
ETA: Er, she's had library cards before... just hadn't gotten one since she moved up here. She'd want that clarified.
She's also got books out on the history of virginity and one on sex and size and some erotica (none of which I've read, going to remedy that.)
I used to read her LJ and remember when she was writing the virginity book. Very cool that she's your neighbor-ish!
msbelle already made the points I wanted to, so I will just point at her and say "what she said."
I bought Hanne Blank's book on virginity a few years back but haven't read it yet -- maybe I'll pick it up after I finish reading March. Trying to get as many books read as possible before the baby comes!
That's where I saw Hanne Blank's virginity book! I knew it sounded familiar. It was in a stack of books in your guest room, Kate! Anyway, sarameg, this latest book looks really interesting, and I think I might get it.
eta: continued ~ma for your sister, Cashmere.
Ha! Yes, one of the many, many unread books piling up around our house. Hey, speaking of our guest room, is there any chance you will be making use of it any time soon?
Cash, I meant to say earlier that I'm sending the ~ma to your sister. Please keep us posted.
I meant to email you! I have been very remiss about that, lately.
I don't think I'm going to make it in Jan. (sad emoticon) The holidays left me a little broke-er than I expected, and what with my new determination to get a car. (RESOLVE FACE!)
Would it be too presumptuous for me to come after the baby is born? I would wait until it's a convenient time for you/when there aren't other people visiting. But I would love to meet the baby! And be helpful rather than a burden! And we could also talk about this over email (which I clearly suck at) rather than here. Um.
