Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Cash, all good thoughts to your sister.

Man, it is like 80 degrees in my office, the sun is shining, and I've finished everything that has to get done today. And I don't get to leave for another two and a half hours, by which time it will be dark. I just wanna go for a walk!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

The visa in the old passport will still be valid. You'll just have to travel with two passports and show Indian passport control both until it expires. Then get a new visa in the unexpired passport.

Be grateful that you don't need it expedited. The last time I had to do that it cost well over $200 with the fees and expediting service.

Cash, lots of ~ma for your sister.

msbelle, yay! I meant to email you and say: sorry I didn't include a note or card or anything, but my boss was rushing out the door to the UPS place, so I just had to tape up the box in a hurry. Also, I hope you like what I chose!

YAY! TJ box is awesome and happy making.

Should I go take down christmas lights? It makes me sad.

Not until the 15th Kat, or just leave up year-round. Societal pressure should not cramp what makes you happy. DAMN THE MAN.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ah, so they will send the old one back to me? Okay. That's going to be annoying if I need to use it, but good to know.

Be grateful that you don't need it expedited. The last time I had to do that it cost well over $200 with the fees and expediting service.

Yeah, I only just realized it was expiring in a week last month. Luckily, I don't have any international travel planned in the next 4 to 6 weeks, but you never know when you have to just run off to Brazil or something.

meara - Jan 06, 2012 11:19:03 am PST #14765 of 30001

I assumed it was the first page with the picture and expiration date and everything. But no, it's a different thing! Dammit, passport renewal is $110!

Oh, I thought you realized that and just needed to go to like, Mexico or something.

I'm going out for sushi tonight and to see Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy with my neighbors. I'm catching a bus to the restaurant. It would be really awesome if Felix Bloch ended up being my bus driver.
