Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

I think you can send a non-operational form in on registering a car that is not working. Since your car is only theoretical, ita, it should be possible to register it non-operational.

Yoiks, Cash, I am sending all my hospital wishes to your sister.

I have folded all the clothes but still have a basketful of unmatched socks. WHY?!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Fingers crossed for your sister, Cashmere.

Karma is a cat, sleeping in my lap cuz it loves me. ~TS

Polgara should come here and have a board gaming weekend with me.

That would be an awesome weekend! Sadly my next Texas trip is already fully booked with a wedding and the nephew's adoption finalization.

Healthy {{{vibes}}} for your sister and baby, Cash!

Polgara, are you home yet?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's freaking balmy outside! It was freezing yesterday. Oh, weather, why so fickle? Whatever. I appreciate the balmy.

It's 58 degrees here. I think I caused it by ordering snow boots at the beginning of the week, when it was 23 degrees -- the boots were delivered today. Maybe if I keep ordering cold-weather gear I can hold off winter indefinitely. I mean, I make it rain by hanging out my laundry to dry, so clearly I am some kind of weather witch.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't even know what that is. If they're asking for a new pic I would assume new book.

I assumed it was the first page with the picture and expiration date and everything. But no, it's a different thing! Dammit, passport renewal is $110!

According to this page, I mail my application and passport to them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

P-C, when I renewed my passport last year, I had to send in the whole book, but they did send it back to me. I believe getting a whole new book is the only way to renew. The $110 fee is painful.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Travel papers are so cheap here in the US, because you need so little. Which reminds me, I need to get a birth certificate so I can renew my Jamaican one.
