This shirt took me a moment to get, but then it made me laugh.
Natter 69: Practically names itself.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
oh speaking of books people might have. Anyone have girl with dragon tattoo they would let me borrow? The library is way backed up and I have already posted a request on free cycle. Really do not want to spend money.
I am mainlining New Who Season 2, while doing source research for an article on Food Safety/Defense.
msbelle, I do - if you don't mind a non-electronic/dead tree version. Send me your mailing address ... I should be able to get it in the mail this weekend. Profile addy is good.

As a non-Who-watcher, can you let me in on the joke? (I vaguely know that "Gallifrey" is a place or thing associated with Doctor Who [definitely Doctor Who the *show,* and possibly with the character].)
non-electric is the only way I read thus far.
Thanks.
I will send my address momentarily.
I just got a work email from some named Natalie Quaintance. It seemed so like a spammer's made-up name that I looked her up in the directory before I opened the message.
Teppy, Time Lords, including the Doctor, have two hearts.
Ah. Nifty!
And now I'm imagining the potential for an octuple bypass surgery.

I just laughed into my conference call. Thank doodly no one asked me to explain.
Quaintance
Nuh-huh. So not a real name.
My mother once told my best friend (thanks for the condolences, by the way) that she made up the pronunciation of her name. *My* mother. Who, you know, made up the spelling of my name. She intimidated the fuck out of Deb-oh-rah, and BFF refused to talk to her, for fear of further incurring her disapproval.
How many people here always (at least try to) type "Doctor Who" and not "Dr. Who"? I can't work out why I do that. Is it written somewhere that it's the way? (Also, FTR, he's not *called* "Doctor Who". He's called "The Doctor".)
(I like it when you use my name)
