And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I can recognize the faces just fine, but my brain doesn't pair up NAMES with them. So I'm pretty much left with "Oh, he's that guy who was Prime Minister" and "she was in that movie that I can't remember the name of."

There's a party game where you write down a bunch of names, put them in a hat, and then pair off. You pick a name from the hat and have to get your partner to guess it without using any proper names in your description. (So for Helen Mirren you can't say "She was DCI Jane Tennison") And there's a timer.

I am awesome at the part of this game where I describe people for my partner to guess. I am TERRIBLE at the guessing half because I spend so much time going "Yes, yes I know exactly who you're talking about! Their name is...fuck, what's their NAME???"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Whoa. I went down a rabbit hole. I've looked at almost every post on this blog - [link]

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Paging Teppy. I'm taking Tramadol and want to take some Tylenol for a headache. Is that a bad idea?

As long as the tramadol isn't a tramadol/acetaminophen combo, you can take Tylenol. If it's just plain tramadol, then go for it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I love Tramadol. Don't know about mixing it though.

Duly noted for the future.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just plain tramadol. Thanks, Teppy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hate the world, for the record. I had to replace my phone, and my order went through for two instead of one because of refreshing the page, and sales support isn't answering their phones, and no one's replied to my "OH FUCK FIX THAT" email I sent off a couple seconds later.

Also, the people with the title to my car haven't called me back, and I haven't had a chance to call them, because work is last minute crazy.

Grr.

Someone tell my husband to put the kids to bed faster so we can watch more Homeland. That show is like CRACK.

My best friend's father just went into hospital and is not expected to make it back out, so she'll be travelling to his deathbed in Miami on her daughter's birthday. And I can't even call to see how she's doing because she's too busy tonight last minute prepping for the international trip. Goddamn. Also, oyveh.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

OH MY GOD LET ME ON THE PLANE.

I'm sorry for your friend, ita. 2012, not doing so great yet.

Oh, I'm sorry for your friend, ita. So hard.
