Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

There are a few alternative services, but they're not anywhere near as useful as PayPal. Nearly everyone takes PayPal.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Banks in the US are just now starting to let people send funds via email. A system for that has been in place in Canada for a while.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Amy,

when I can, I use Amazon payments but that perhaps isn't the best way for things like ebay. It's been a long time since I used ebay.

Square looks like something I would want (and their card case app): [link]

but that isn't ideal for something like ebay.

hip deep in pie

A system for that has been in place in Canada for a while.

There's still not a lot of retailers who use it. And I think it costs me a buck for every transactions, but that may just be money transfers via email.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I love the idea of Square/Card Case, but I don't know of any stores that actually use it. Seems to be more common closer to Silicon Valley.

I see it used a lot by local arts & crafts vendors. Really makes sense if you are doing the market/fair circuit.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A lot of the food trucks out here use Square.

Because books.

I was thinking more for the personal ways people tend to use it, such as here, although I can see Square being great for vendors.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh. I've got some active items on eBay right now and a few more to do by the end of the week, but once those are all cleared I'm closing my PayPal account. That's... that's just rancid.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I keep hearing ads for Popmoney on NPR, but am not familiar with it [link] Might be time to look into it.
