That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At my first job in California, I did have someone come up to me and say she'd seen my car, did I really go to McGill (people lie about things like that?). Turns out she was a Jamaican who'd gone to McGill, but at least we weren't there at the same time.

And the job after that, I worked with someone I'd taken krav with (and I was besties with her ex), but, seriously, that's not that random. I mean, in comparison.

Okay, work done. Groceries, home.

YAY msbelle!

My house got termite tented this morning, and I drove by there on the way home. She* looks so sad, all covered up and toxic.

  • Yes, I have decided my house is female.

I have been sadly remiss in picture taking, and they took down the listing, so I may not have any right now. I will have to look through all the emails and see.

I will definitely be open to suggestions, but painting outside of fixing what needs to be redone after the repairs may need to wait a bit. Repairs, then fence(DOGGY), then insulation, then yard, then new paint. Luckily, the inside paint jobs are at least decent.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Have y'all ever heard of the dance style "waacking" (or "punking")? Someone on my fb flist just linked this. [link] Similar to Vogueing as far as I can tell, but preceded it and started on the West Coast (according to Wikipedia, anyway).

Because books.

Aw, poor tented house. But no more termites is a good thing.

I think they featured someone who was a "wacker" in the auditions for SYTYCD last season.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

SOON! I can't get a dog until I get the fence fixed, though, and I have to wait until other repairs are done before I can see if I can afford the fence too or if I have to save up for a bit.

Also, to be blunt, no dog until Perkins the cat dies, and neither of us are in any hurry for that to happen.
