Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that's nuts.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Way to go, msbelle! May it flourish and grow, and may word spread of your awesomeness.

ita !, that is bonkers.

ION, it's fucking cold out.

Here, it's fucking cold in. I heard a rustling in my bedroom and came in to find that Frankie was trying to get under the covers by himself. He now sleeps all the way under the covers all night long and doesn't get up in the morning until I make him. I think I'm going to have to hang blankets over windows and close off my bedroom somehow (no doors). I don't know how they did it in the olden days, I really don't. Mama needs insulation.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay Jen!

Yay msbelle!

Want this digestive bleah To Go Away Now. It's anyone's guess what triggers it, and I don't like the randomness.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At my first job in California, I did have someone come up to me and say she'd seen my car, did I really go to McGill (people lie about things like that?). Turns out she was a Jamaican who'd gone to McGill, but at least we weren't there at the same time.

And the job after that, I worked with someone I'd taken krav with (and I was besties with her ex), but, seriously, that's not that random. I mean, in comparison.

Okay, work done. Groceries, home.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY msbelle!

My house got termite tented this morning, and I drove by there on the way home. She* looks so sad, all covered up and toxic.

  • Yes, I have decided my house is female.

perkins, linky-loo to pics of your new house? You open for suggestions on paint and stuff?

I have been sadly remiss in picture taking, and they took down the listing, so I may not have any right now. I will have to look through all the emails and see.

I will definitely be open to suggestions, but painting outside of fixing what needs to be redone after the repairs may need to wait a bit. Repairs, then fence(DOGGY), then insulation, then yard, then new paint. Luckily, the inside paint jobs are at least decent.

Have y'all ever heard of the dance style "waacking" (or "punking")? Someone on my fb flist just linked this. [link] Similar to Vogueing as far as I can tell, but preceded it and started on the West Coast (according to Wikipedia, anyway).

Because books.

Aw, poor tented house. But no more termites is a good thing.

I think they featured someone who was a "wacker" in the auditions for SYTYCD last season.
