this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Arrrrrgh. We needed to leave 15 minutes ago. I'm trying to not flip out like a mammal.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Alas, according to Steven Moffat (@steven_moffat): "For the record, @mrcumberbatch is not the real Benedict."

Don't know about the other.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My manager just checked up on me. That was nice of her. Not that either of us have the first clue what the official next step is, but at least the CIO knows now, and she's tracking down the Information Security Officer to tell him.

I mentioned the part where I fucked up, right?

Yeah...

I should go watch some Community. Not that it wasn't watching Community that distracted me from emptying my car in the first place, damned show. But I forgive Dan. I do.

ita that sucks. Also, you locked your car true? Then getting your car broken into was not your fault - it was the fault of the thief. Not backing up - well I bet you are not the only one who has not sufficiently backed up. So please stop beating yourself up about this.

Punishingly Intricate

Even if she didn't lock it, it's not her fault. It is not wise, of course, but the thief is the one who is at fault period.

ita, it totally sucks and I hope the work stuff is easy to deal with and that Enterprise comes through for you. I think crying in this situation is a totally valid response.

Oh ita, I am sorry. That severely sucks. Have the police arrived yet?

We are down to one car right now (my friend C is borrowing the Saturn for her family visit of 6 people!), but I can take K where she needs to go tonight and then help you return the car if you need it (the twins are always up for a car ride).
