Worth the walk?
Yes, but you'll doubt me until about twenty minutes after you take it.
Much like I am doubting whether taking out my recycling is worth it. I'll be happy if it is accomplished but I am cranky about the actual "doing" part.

This is so much of my life...I am happier when I have a clean house and all my work is done...but does that inspire me to do it? Somehow, no.
She says that Ree was a "soc"
She basically says as much in her blog.
ION, new stereo we got for Christmas has an iPod dock (probably most new stereos do now, huh?), and b/c of the wifi, I can stream Pandora through it. I made a Vince Guaraldi channel, and it is awesome.
I'm babysitting again tomorrow (K-Bug is out in CA, so I'm on my own). I really need to babyproof the living room but I don't wanna. Maybe after some pain pills and a nap.

God yes.
What is soc supposed to be?
Rich? Snobby? (Everything I know about being a soc, I learned from The Outsiders.)
What is soc supposed to be?
Like Cordelia, basically.
In my high school part of the rich snobby clique. No such thing (again in my high school) as a lone "soc".
Yeah, I think my friend's comments were earlier on (we were talking about bloggers she knows since she herself is a fairly well-known blogger) - I think maybe 2008 or so? Anyway, now if you look up Ree Drummond it's pretty obvious that she's no ordinary rancher wife - they're actually quite wealthy. My friend was annoyed back in 2008 because she was still mainly being marketed as "ordinary rancher" and down-home-ish, etc. And it wasn't clear from the blog or the press that she actually has abundant outside help (and hired help). So it was annoyance at the portrayal versus the reality. Oh, and also, that she's a major, major jerk. It's really just blogger gossip! C also detests Julie Powell.
