chocolate Guinness, raspberry, and mocha, all with cream cheese frosting--the last with Baileys in the frosting
Please to be pushing through intertubes into my mouth.
I don't know what it says about me that my first thought upon having one kid asleep and one watching movies at the neighbor's was "Hey, I can finally VACUUM!!" But I do have a marginally cleaner living room now. Dear god, kids are so gross. I don't know why I thought having two was a good idea.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
and toilet paper `ma to lenub!
And mom~ma to Jen
My familial scandels all seem to involve dead people, but I do find them out at Christmas.
The weirdest one was my grandma taking my mom over to this man's house where she was decorating, and then having my mom take a shower the whole time they were there. So many different weird ways that could go.
Those cupcakes sound amazing. Want.
msbelle's mistletoe plan is inspired. Hmmm...
Thanks, all. Staff are all super nice, so that's good.
Amy, feel better, dude. Sick at the holidays sucks more than regular sick.
Is there such a thing?
Quilted Northern in the purple packaging. We haven't tried it, but when I'm buying TP, I look at it longingly.
CJ was at KCD's all day yesterday, last night and this morning, both to spend time with dad and to accomplish Christmas shopping. I was supposed to have him after karate through tomorrow noon. Well, they didn't finish their shopping, so KCD is picking him up again soon. Color me annoyed.
Scandals, hmmm. Oh! My mom's sister once ran off with a man early, early in her marriage but called my dad and asked him to come get her after like two days.
I called and cancelled taking the friends' kids out today. They were still not ready to go, and this is too late on Christmas Eve to be heading out. I will take them on the 26th to get their mom some after Christmas presents. ANd I think I will tell them a specific time to be ready.
now, football, chips and guac.
My worries about a rotisserie chicken being enough to feed 3 for Christmas dinner have been laid to rest in the process of carving Chickenzilla. This thing had almost half as much breast meat as the turkeys I've bought for Thanksgiving before (counterbalanced by proportionately little thighs that look like white meat - was it a lap pet that never had to walk anywhere, like one of Paris Hilton's dogs?)
I swear it must have looked like Foghorn Leghorn when it was alive.
MOMMMMMM. Matt is having Foghorn Leghorn for Chrismakah dinner!!!
was it a lap pet that never had to walk anywhere, like one of Paris Hilton's dogs?)
Er, most factory farmed chickens are not raised in conditions conducive to walking, but I'm not sure "lap pet" is the term I'd use to describe them.
