I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, has anyone used the nail polish sticker things? The package says it only lasts 1-2 days -- is that true?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I think 11-13 might be the hardest age ever to shop for.

I've been trying to come up with ideas for presents for two 11-year-old girls. A co-worker whose daughter is now 13 recommended a chain of stores called Justice: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, thanks for the heads up. I have no idea how that tumblr post got in. I deleted it and changed my password and sent a message to support, which was probably the wrong order to do things in.

Fuck, I'm so tired and I'm not done work yet. I still have to send out the email summing up today.

The consultant from the software company acts really impressed with me, and he was pointing out that I wasn't "just" a business analyst, and the developer muttered "lobbyist" and I had no idea what he was talking about, or if he'd even said that. Then my boss had a huge misconception and we all panicked and needed to change his mind, and I made a game plan and got together some people and typed up the document and gave a presentation, and the consultant seemed even more impressed, and this time the developer *definitely* said "lobbyist". But it was *important* to change my boss's mind. So we did.

Thing is, I can never change that developer's mind. But he says no lobbyist can lobby everyone. Bastard.

Okay, let me go send the status email.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

recommended a chain of stores called Justice:

My daughter loves that store, it seems to be all the rage with the tween set. Warning, prices are high. I only buy when I find a 40% off coupon. Luckily, they seem to grow 40% off coupons like weeds. Try one of those deal sites, I bet you'll find one.

I'm sorry the day sucked, Perkins.

I wouldn't buy a "live in concert" music album anyway, but partly that's because most of the music I like is heavily processed.

Heh, fair enough! I wouldn't either, but I also don't go to concerts... for me it's all "I think this is a thing some people do, right?" Anyway, what I can dig up online makes it look like seats were in the $35-60 range.

I did see Patton Oswalt at Lisner, and that was recorded for My Weakness is Strong. That was the same thing -- not everything in the show made it through editing, and we had a good time at the show, so it's all good.

Trust my rage

My daughter loves that store

I still haven't purchased anything, but I did look at the Justice site. I think I"m going to move away from straight peace signs and just try to find something I like.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I think I have some sterling silver peace sign earrings. If I still have them I should take them to a gold/silver buying place.
