Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ah, thanks, so it was here. I should just assume I hear about things here, because that's usually the truth of it.
Dinner tonight: brown rice cooked in chicken broth from poaching the other night (I bought a crapload of frozen chicken breasts a couple weeks ago, which is why the obsession), which is SO good and chicken salad with apples and almonds made with the actual chicken. Yum.
well no job offers from the 4 applications I sent off yesterday, slackers. I did an in-person application at a car dealership today (receptionist).
I need to do at least one app tonight.
Just watched Louis CK's special, and two things: I would be pissed if I had paid the $75 or whatever to see the show live (just him, one hour, no opener or anything, and now I've seen it with no cameras in the way for $5!), and also I can't decide if I would think he was too old for me in a picture, because he is not actually, and we should totally date, and I would hate to overlook him on OKCupid. Where I am sure he is just waiting for me.
I have a niece who is 11 and loves tie die (I can't remember how to spell that!) and peace signs. I'm looking for a cool Christmas gift. Anyway have any ideas?
eta: I think 11-13 might be the hardest age ever to shop for. I know her and see her often and have no idea what to get her.

I dunno; it doesn't seem any different than paying more to go to a concert than you do to buy a "live in concert" album.
And the live show was about 90 minutes long; it's not all in the special.
But apparently the sound was bad for at least one show. That would be vexing.
Stephanie, The Children's Place has a lot of peace sign stuff for girls.
Nilly, I'm so sorry. Peace to your husband's family, and good healthy vibes for your dad.
Thanks, Amy. I will go check...

OK, that's something, at least. Actually, I guess it really depends for me on what the tickets cost -- $40-$50 seems fine.
I wouldn't buy a "live in concert" music album anyway, but partly that's because most of the music I like is heavily processed.
I am taking votes on finger nail polish on my fb. I bought some I GOT FIRED polish from the OPI Muppet group: Rainbow connection, excuse moi, gone gonzo. And then not like the movies because it was there and iradescency pretty.
Hey, has anyone used the nail polish sticker things? The package says it only lasts 1-2 days -- is that true?
