This may be wrong, but I have to share it. (Sorry.) In my job I am in close contact with a certain public affairs/news show. We have monthly meetings that include what will be on in the coming weeks/months. For like six months this year, those meetings included someone saying that the Nelson Mandela profile show was ready to be re-run if he should die. It became a running joke. Which, not something to joke about!

I've never encountered any news organization that didn't have a Celebrity Deathwatch list. My department puts together "just in case" clip reels every couple of months.
