Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But with a catsitter coming in while I'm gone

Yeah, no. I am sorry you have to pay weekend rates and that it happened at all.

When she was in labor with her first

I think birth with claustrophobia issues of any flavor must be awful. I've only been witness but there are people coming and going and ack!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

When I gave birth to Franny there were 5 other people there, all actively helping in one way or another.

When Lisa's T was actually born, there was...let's see...her husband, daughter, me, her OB, nurse for baby in the background until needed, nurse assisting the OB, and one monitoring Lisa . Until the actual "here we go" part, it was usually just Jimmy and a nurse, with Miss P and I coming and going. As well as the epi guy.

It's almost been 4 years. I should ask Lisa to see the vid I took (at their request.) I am shit with taking video, it was a crash course, I was more focused on Miss P and HOLYSHITBIRTH than the damned camera. Though they said I did a good job at that.

My sister requested I film Nephlet. One, I am not a videographer. Two, episiotomy. I've never seen the film but I am told it was good and I only wavered at that one part.

Also my (omg does not drink or take anything stronger than Advil) stepmom and I were debating whether it was better to continue drugging my sister or if we should take the drugs instead. It was a long labor.

I don't recall if there was an episiotomy. I think there was. Funny, I don't recall.

hip deep in pie

Okay, upon further investigation, there was a metal housing and only two wires. I decided to tackle the switch switch. I have light, and so far, my house is not on fire. I am thinking more seriously about having the house rewired...those wires are old.

No fire, but now I double post.

I aspire to be you.

Awesome job, Sue!

Hah! I'm not too squeamish and the whole thing was so surreal, I was in docu and protector mode. I had my jobs, my personal stuff was out of the game.
