When Lisa's T was actually born, there was...let's see...her husband, daughter, me, her OB, nurse for baby in the background until needed, nurse assisting the OB, and one monitoring Lisa . Until the actual "here we go" part, it was usually just Jimmy and a nurse, with Miss P and I coming and going. As well as the epi guy.

It's almost been 4 years. I should ask Lisa to see the vid I took (at their request.) I am shit with taking video, it was a crash course, I was more focused on Miss P and HOLYSHITBIRTH than the damned camera. Though they said I did a good job at that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My sister requested I film Nephlet. One, I am not a videographer. Two, episiotomy. I've never seen the film but I am told it was good and I only wavered at that one part.

Also my (omg does not drink or take anything stronger than Advil) stepmom and I were debating whether it was better to continue drugging my sister or if we should take the drugs instead. It was a long labor.

I don't recall if there was an episiotomy. I think there was. Funny, I don't recall.

Okay, upon further investigation, there was a metal housing and only two wires. I decided to tackle the switch switch. I have light, and so far, my house is not on fire. I am thinking more seriously about having the house rewired...those wires are old.

No fire, but now I double post.

Hah! I'm not too squeamish and the whole thing was so surreal, I was in docu and protector mode. I had my jobs, my personal stuff was out of the game.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Story from a friend:

K asks, "Dad what's your favorite element?" Dad says, "Oxygen." K says, "Mine is Carbon." Sister says, "Mine is Helium." K says, "Mom, what is your favorite element?" I say, "Surprise."

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

CJ's search and rescue team had their holiday party tonight. He got his medical patch to add to his uniform. Tomorrow he takes his probationary test to become a full member.

During the party, after all the speeches and presentations, they had a video with pictures of the team during training and missions. Lots of great shots of the kids hiking, carrying litters, rappelling, and generally hanging out being filthy dirty. CJ had a couple of individual shots. One of him being goofy and one of him with a bloody nose. The second shot also showed his use of a tampon to stop the flow. My son is man enough to make a tampon up the nose look tough. I had to ask the gal who put the video together to send me that shot.
