Sophia - that is weird and assuming and weird.
Matilda's ladybits - quit it. Give the child a break - you have plenty of years ahead to make her curse you.
Pix and ND - my thoughts are with you.
I'm taking CJ to see West Side Story tonight. I'm pretty darned excited.
Two things:
I made delicious chicken salad today with just chicken, chopped almonds, apple, mayo, and salt and pepper. I wish I hadn't eaten it all at lunch, because then I would have some now.
I am bribing myself with the prospect of dinner. No dinner until I wash the dishes and clean the stove. I had been doing SO WELL until yesterday.
Tell me to just step away from e-mails with the local Freecycle moderator, who thinks that everything not forbidden is compulsory. Apparently I switched the order of two words in the Subject line and so she rejected multiple posts without letting me know what the problem was. She didn't bother, she said, because no one cares about Taken posts.
I hate everyone. Except maybe y'all.
I was just pulling out our garbage can and thought to myself that it felt kind of heavy. Then I flipped the lid off and found out why - two raccoons curled up on top of the last bag I put out.
Does the "yip yip" part of that song have anyone else thinking about "Avatar: The Last Airbender?"
Or is it just me?
OMG Sparky! Did they cuss you out for waking them??
Poor Matilda!
Suzi, have FUN! And now I am earwormed with "America".
Ginger, what's up with that, I had a similar thing with the one item I've put on Freecycle. It was a filing cabinet that was gone almost immediately, and then I tried three times to put up a Taken post and couldn't, while ten people emailed me about it (and one got mad that it was gone and there was no Taken notice! I mean really). I've given one thing and taken one thing, that evens out.
Freecycle is more of a pain than it's worth. Goodwill is easier and the money goes to a good cause.

Raccoons are scary.
A young man asked to use my phone at the bus stop, and then STOLE IT! He is foiled if he wanted to use it, since it is password protected, but I am irritated.
