Ginger, what's up with that, I had a similar thing with the one item I've put on Freecycle. It was a filing cabinet that was gone almost immediately, and then I tried three times to put up a Taken post and couldn't, while ten people emailed me about it (and one got mad that it was gone and there was no Taken notice! I mean really). I've given one thing and taken one thing, that evens out.

Freecycle is more of a pain than it's worth. Goodwill is easier and the money goes to a good cause.

I was just pulling out our garbage can and thought to myself that it felt kind of heavy. Then I flipped the lid off and found out why - two raccoons curled up on top of the last bag I put out.

Raccoons are scary.

A young man asked to use my phone at the bus stop, and then STOLE IT! He is foiled if he wanted to use it, since it is password protected, but I am irritated.

I was just looking at climate change maps and we're so screwed.

Probably we are screwed. If we started now we could still do enough to make the difference between disaster and catastrophe. Unfortunately the Durban deal is that we will try for another deal to start in 2020 when it will be too late.

It really is very nice that my landlords give me a holiday gift each year. I thank them and send something in return. I just wish that they'd give me something other than a giant box of cheese and sausage.

My toilet is leaking around the base.

Oh man.

I called the general contractor and they're calling the flooring company right away and calling me back. So hopefully the flooring company will just come out and remove toilet and put it back on right this time.

Glad I caught it now and not later.

How stressful, java. I hope it's something very very very minor.
