Yeah, she really looks like my kid in that shot. Hee.

Thanks everyone. Very hard morning.
JZ, was Matilda on sulfa antibiotics? She might be having an allergic reaction, which would also mean the UTI wasn't actually cured, no matter what the tests said.

Oh, man, I hope not, for her sake. I'm allergic to pennicyllin & sulfa drugs, and it's a major PITA. Also, itchy!
OTOH, I think they still work to kill the infection, it's just that they also give me hives from my neck to my toes.
Poor Matilda!

Oh, poor Matilda!
Jesse, nice work on the gift swap! I need to get my gift for my office's Dirty Santa (what we Northerners call a Yankee Swap). I'm thinking of going to the local record store and picking up as many goofy Christmas CDs as $15-$20 will get me.
Two years ago, I came home with a super-warm leopard-print Snuggie, and last year I brought home a cookbook and homemade cinnamon rolls, so I'm hoping my Dirty Santa mojo doesn't desert me this year.
I'm allergic to sulfa and had that reaction. It hasn't been bad now that I know I can't have them, but it's really important to know since a secon exposure can be very serious.
She was on amoxicillin from 11/20 through 11/27 and on Kefzol 11/30-12/2, and has been off all antibiotics since, so I doubt it could be an allergic reaction at this point.
Apparently she trotted home with David feeling fine (as long as she's not peeing, it doesn't hurt) and sing-songing, "My vagina is annn-gry! I have an angry vagina! Yip! Yip!"
Poor Matilda. You may want to get some Benedryl in her, because, as other have said, it sounds like an allergic reaction.
Sophia - that is weird and assuming and weird.
Matilda's ladybits - quit it. Give the child a break - you have plenty of years ahead to make her curse you.
Pix and ND - my thoughts are with you.
I'm taking CJ to see West Side Story tonight. I'm pretty darned excited.
Two things:
I made delicious chicken salad today with just chicken, chopped almonds, apple, mayo, and salt and pepper. I wish I hadn't eaten it all at lunch, because then I would have some now.
I am bribing myself with the prospect of dinner. No dinner until I wash the dishes and clean the stove. I had been doing SO WELL until yesterday.
