See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Word is, very red and angry. We've been slathering the antifungal on her for 2 weeks now, including just this morning. I just want it fixed! I want her better!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The National Zoo has - or, at least, had - a bat house. It was kept dark, to fool the bats into being active during the day so people could see them awake. I remember going there once and one bat was hanging by the toes of one foot, had wrapped itself in its wings, and was grooming itself. I could see the movement under the wings, but no details. huh ... a modest bat?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I just want baby bats.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Editor’s Note: Coilhouse reader Dicyfer just commented that this is “Centaur Kiss” by George Leonnec. It ran as cover artwork for the magazine La Vie Parisienne back in 1924. Thanks, Dicyfer!

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks everyone. Very hard morning.

JZ, was Matilda on sulfa antibiotics? She might be having an allergic reaction, which would also mean the UTI wasn't actually cured, no matter what the tests said.

Oh, man, I hope not, for her sake. I'm allergic to pennicyllin & sulfa drugs, and it's a major PITA. Also, itchy!

OTOH, I think they still work to kill the infection, it's just that they also give me hives from my neck to my toes.
