So how many are surprised that Matt is trying to figure out when to get to LA and Help Allyson with her guitar?
and thanks for all you kind thoughts and words. Matt is really good at giving kind words to people, but I think he is surprised at how much they matter
Aww, that's awesome. Allyson would be well served to have matt's help!
My sympathies to you, Matt and his family, Beth.
Also, Pix, I am so sorry to hear about Byron. I know how hard that decision is.
Because it deserves a seperate post, I know about the porn Alice in Wonderland because it played in our local drive-in when I was a kid and there was some scandal because
some
people took kids not realizing it was porn. I didn't know it was a musical.
There's also a porn version of Cinderella that I found on cable once. The prince only knows Cinderella by having sex with her...so that's how he has to sort through all the people claiming to be her.
Mystery news of the morning to me is
Men's Health
choice of Jennifer Aniston as hottest woman of all time. I understand that I am likely not the best judge of what is hott in a woman, but she wouldn't be on my top 10 list. Now Salma would make the list.
1. There is a porn version of Alice in Wonderland made in 1976.
I've seen it. For a while, the student group at my college that showed movies on campus would show a "Special Movie" right before finals, which would always be porn. And, because of the setup of the theatre, it had to be something on actual film, not video, which pretty much meant seventies or earlier. First semester of my freshman year, they showed this one.
(((beth and Matt))) I am so sorry for your loss.
Pix, my thought will be with you Wednesday.
Mystery news of the morning to me is Men's Health choice of Jennifer Aniston as hottest woman of all time.
I don't get it either. I guess that Jennifer Aniston has the hottest publicist of all time.
I'm so sorry to hear about Byron, Pix.
Supposedly there was a protest against BBC News outside the other office on Friday? I wonder if the protesters ever realized there is no BBC News in that building?
A whole bunch of companies pulled their ads from "All-American Muslim" after the Florida Family Association protested. [link] I've watched a few episodes of the show -- pretty much, it's just some Muslims in Dearborn living like people live. One guy coaches high school football. Another guy is a sheriff's deputy. That guy's wife works in PR for a car company, and they've got four little kids who always seem to be running around and screaming to illustrate how stressed their mother is. There's a bleach blonde who wants to open a nightclub. There are some women who wear hijab, and others who don't. There's the woman portrayed as the "rebel" because she wears tank tops and goes to country music concerts, but no one in her family really does much more about it than roll their eyes and figure that one day she'll grow up and settle down. There was one scene where a Muslim woman was marrying a non-Muslim man, and he agreed to convert to Islam, and the conversion ceremony was in the family's living room, with the bride's father reciting things in Arabic and the groom repeating them, while the bride and her sisters watched and joked around about it.
