Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

A five year old of my acquaintance has taken up finger-knitting. I've never heard of it, but the tube-like scarves she is making are pretty cute and trendy.

Like with a Knitting Nancy?

Knitting Nancy: [link] I had a few of them when I was a kid -- they were sold in craft project kits.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't watched South Park in quite a while (like *donkey's* years), but this episode, Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset sounds like quite a doozy. They're not still that hardcore, are they?

Today, I realized I've transfered all my MK neuroticism hyper-vigilance to Devi. I've been keeping such a close eye on her that I'm finding things to freak out over. OMG, she's staying on my lap and she's not a lapcat! (maybe cause you woke her from a deep sleep and she's still not awake, dumbass?) She's snoring! She never snores. (She also rarely sleeps in that ridiculous position, dumbass.)

I spent probably a good 10 minutes freaking out over a regularly-interval tremor before I realized...she had the hiccups.

This kinda needs to stop. Ain't healthy. Yes, she's 14, yes, that's pretty old, but other than an uber touchy digestive system, she's in pretty good health and vigor. No sense in borrowing trouble.

Baked another batch of cookies. Less flour, more butter, double the cook time and up the over temp to 400, much more to my liking.

Okay, mother's PJs are ordered, both laptops are configured, all three keychains are loaded with 52 photos (so they can add 8 themselves before having to delete any of my choices).

Fuck. I went to the pharmacy and forgot to buy other stuff my mother asked for. I still need to buy my PJs, pick my sister's main present, and flash the routers.

Hey, steampunk people: are these prices good? They look good to me.
