Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I would volunteer (in theory) to be hostage but I am quite confident my employees would not let me. Here's hoping we don't find out.

I'm quite certain they would not and...amen.

Art Crawl!!!

Liese, not being warm enough is why we'd knit tabi style socks from some lovely and warm yarn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The notion of going on after others were harmed in my place is unthinkable

But then you'd force them to live with the same explicit knowledge. Is that fair? And the premise isn't that they weren't picked in your place. Just that they were picked.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

ita ! says what I was trying to say, in fewer words.

Yep. Not brave. Pretty sure I said that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay! Let's do it!

(Eta: err, knit tabi, that is, not make sacrifices resulting in our deaths!)

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm already pondering what yarn(s) I'd want to use.

NOTHING BETWEEN MY TOES. EVER EVER.

I have worked out why Bristol Farms is so mad expensive. When I ask which apples are the Gala, the produce guy offers to slice me off a piece of one for a taste, and then one of another variety, just so I can compare. Dude, that's two entire apples I'm not actually buying...

Okay, now to work out why I shop there.

A five year old of my acquaintance has taken up finger-knitting. I've never heard of it, but the tube-like scarves she is making are pretty cute and trendy.

She's decided to be an entrepreneur and sell them as holiday gifts. She's even expanded her 'line' to include headbands and bracelets.

Did I mention that she is 5?
