Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Nice, Allyson!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Granted, it's not a very scientific post. Maybe it'll give Sam a bump...

It is very cool Allyson. Is cocktail physics going to be on SciAm from now on?

Thanks so much! I'm all happy and stuff.

CPP is always xposted to SciAm, I think it's been there for almost a year.

If the book doesn't work out, I'm going to ask if I can post one essay a month or something. I think she'd be ok with that.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oooh, Older Than The Stars and Starry Messenger (my love for Peter Sis is *huge*) look especially amazing, but really all of them look good.

Though, living in a multistory building with oldish plumbing, I hesitate to buy my child a book describing experiments that include flushing a bottle down the toilet.
