I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Aw, poor Matilda. And poor-Matilda parents. That sounds like a whole lot of no fun at all.

Having had a lot of pee drama with Taz lately (the only reason I bring it up is because it totally dominated our lives for 6 weeks so it's still fresh in my memory), I will say that you have a bit of an advantage with her being able to communicate her symptoms to you. Though of course that communication is stressful to all.

I hope Matilda's all better soon! That really sucks, especially at this time of year.

Always Anti-fascist!

That's awful, Hec. Does M. take baths, or showers? I ask because I had a spate of that as a kid and switching to showers helped(Of course, my lack of mobility contributed.) The doc said too much sitting in my dirt. He probably used more words that that.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor Matilda! My suggestion is eating lots of yogurt with antibiotics next time, if she will eat yogurt.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There's yogurt with antibiotics? I've only seen yogurt with probiotics.

Yeah, yogurt helps. Also, if her doc recommends cranberry juice, put 7-up in it. But there are pills, too.

I meant, eat yogurt next time you take antibiotics. The probiotics help prevent the yeast infections that often come with taking antibiotics.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ack, Matilda. That sounds awful.

Ericka, I was so worried when Darby had to have her teeth done that they were going to have to pull one of her front canines (though I already had a plan half made to change her name to Fang in the event.) As it turned out, they thought the fang was not too badly damaged to stay. (She was kicked, or hit by car, or some unknown "traumatic injury" before I got her that broke a few of her teeth.) Tooth~ma!
