There's yogurt with antibiotics? I've only seen yogurt with probiotics.

Yeah, yogurt helps. Also, if her doc recommends cranberry juice, put 7-up in it. But there are pills, too.

I meant, eat yogurt next time you take antibiotics. The probiotics help prevent the yeast infections that often come with taking antibiotics.
Oh, interesting!
Ack, Matilda. That sounds awful.
Ericka, I was so worried when Darby had to have her teeth done that they were going to have to pull one of her front canines (though I already had a plan half made to change her name to Fang in the event.) As it turned out, they thought the fang was not too badly damaged to stay. (She was kicked, or hit by car, or some unknown "traumatic injury" before I got her that broke a few of her teeth.) Tooth~ma!
Health-ma for Matilda, poor boo.
Hec, a yeast infection can cause pain when peeing. Poor noodle. Was she only given a topical cream for the yeast infection (i.e., no pill)? Because there's an antifungal pill called Diflucan that is a miracle drug for yeast infections. Maybe ask her doctor about that. Possibly there's no dose for children, though. I don't know.

HELL yes. Also prevents one's gastrointestinal flora from being destroyed (which then leads to horrors in the bathroom). Probiotics are a good idea whenever someone takes antibiotics.
We lucked out - she has an appt with her pediatrician for Monday, which is a frigging Advent Miracle.
She's just so miserable. And now she's getting stuck in a spiral of badness -- it hurts to pee, so she clenches up and fights it off until her bladder is full to bursting, which is tough on all her little systems, and when she finally does go it's dark and thick and cloudy and it hurts so much that now she wants to hold it in and delay even more. And she's got a rash, too. Poor muffin.
Switch her to all-cotton panties, no cute nylon ones, and have her not wear tights -- wear pants -- while she has the yeast infection. If she HAS to wear tights, get her into cotton PJ pants, no undies, as soon as she gets home. No baths, especially not with bubbles. Poor noodle.
They probably gave an internal cream to combat the yeast infection, but if she has itchies, too, Vagisil really does help.
No powders down there, and switch to a mild soap like Ivory or Johnsons & Johnson's Baby Wash, unscented, if you're not already using it.
Poor baby -- I didn't have my first YI till I was in my twenties.
