not your mom's socks.

msbelle, I'm so glad you're liking the job, and that they are recognizing your awesomeness.

Excellent news Quester! (And Laga, and continuing excellence smonster & StW)

Cash, a big cluestick for DH's boss. Consuela and mr. flea: bureaucratic-hurdle~ma.

calm~ma for Jilli & Pete (hope I'm still in the right thread)

phew. tired now. We went to a concert tonight and took a picnic. Food outlasted the music. Hmph. Now DH is planning to pull an extra day of work out of tonight. This is clearly wrong.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

(smonster says) Consuela, bonny recommends a powder you can sprinkle on their food, called Plaque Off (they make a human version and a pet version).

I haven't had the courage to give it to my cats yet, but I've been taking the human version* for two years. My teeth are whiter and I have no tartar/plaque/whatever-it-is buildup to speak of at dental cleanings anymore. It also seems to have helped my energy levels - it contains iodine, so probably helps my sluggish thyroid. It's some particular seaweed. How it helps teeth, I don't know, but it seems it does.

*The human version is exactly the same stuff, in a bottle with smiling people on it instead of smiling pets.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sox, I think you crossed the threads a little. Happens to me all the time!

flea, I omitted a hearty "woo hoo" to the news that mr. flea is back in the game for that job. Is that the one near Steph?

not your mom's socks.

I'm now being completely thread irresponsible. Did I get the thread right just now in bitches? Dear dog I'm confused. I need thread counseling. Or a nap.

Hmm. I need to start taking the human version, especially since I'm broke and overdue for a cleaning. And I don't like how yellow my teeth are.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news, quester!

Hey ita, I was just listening to Skip Gates on Fresh Air from last week (?), and he's talking about race in latin america, and said he went around the Dominican Republic asking people if they were black, and they all said no, and when he asked where the black people were, they all said Haiti. Heh.

ION, my hair is kinda purple. It's kinda dark brown, but when the light shines through it, I can see the purple. And since I dyed it burgundy-brown over cinnamon-red, you can also see red threads showing through it. I like it.

I can't get a photo of it, though. It just looks brown. Sorry.
