That shit ain't right.
I'm just waiting to see if a SPN analog to the Bella's Womb Woman will try her hand at knitting anatomically correct versions.
But there are no wombs in Supernatural...
here is a restatement of privilege and using "real names":
Oh, yeah, danah boyd. I read that this morning, too. She's always got something valuable to say.
I got the job...at least as a temp...but, I got the job!
Releasing the job~ma - temporarily - to those who need it more!
Thank you, Buffistas, you are the best imaginary friends evah!
Consuela, mr. flea heard today that the efforts of the hiring team to get the pool expanded beyond the initial 3 people referred were successful, and he's been referred as well! So now they can choose to interview him if they want (and boy do I hope they do.) Is this something that could work for your position? From what I understand the boss of the open position asked to have a larger number than 3 referred (I think 5). There was no guarantee that central HR would agree, or that mr. flea would be in the larger pool, but thankfully he made it.

Yay quester! (And Mr. Flea and Mr. Cash.) (And @@@@ at Mr. Cash's employers.)

Oh, that's excellent news, flea! I hope it works out--and I'm sure they'll interview, because they won't have bothered to keep him in the loop if not.
I may ask HR if there's a reason they're going by 3 instead of 5....
