Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm getting ready to meet Perkins and Plei.

And go get sushi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

are your physicians certain it isn't gall bladder?

For some reason, yeah. But I still have that scan to go. Must find my paperwork and get all that scheduled. The attacks are increasing in frequency.

MOAR JUICE.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh. I meant play-wise, but that was good, too.

ita, they definitely told my mother more than once that it wasn't her gall bladder before determining that it was her gall bladder, so. Although that was 20 years ago and there are probably better/different tests now.

Oh, plays! I saw Much Ado About Nothing, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and Pygmalion.

Shrift, sounds like you saw a LOT, and some great plays as well! I saw some Tom Stoppard when I was in London a while back, but it was one of the plays about mid-19th-century anarchists, and pretty much impossible to follow. I'd have rather seen R&GAD.

ION, I visited with my mother, clipped the dog's nails, did some of their laundry, went to the grocery store (OMG the TJ's in Lafayette is nearly empty at 2 pm on Saturday, I love it so), and started some laundry. And I napped.

Now I need to feed the dog and pay some bills and make dinner.

Because books.

shrift, that sounds awesome. I have a jealous.

ita, that bites. Definitely schedule that scan. Did they do an ultrasound when they ruled it out before?

I wrote today. And showered, and picked up the house a little, and wrote some more. Then we went to dinner at my parents' for my dad's birthday, and now I am Full of Cake.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

shrift,

I am seriously jealous. I'm glad you are having fun.

ita, Amy is asking the questions I was going to ask. The hospital told me the only way they can definitively test for gall bladder problems (prior to seeking removal) is to do this crazy test where you drink (?) something and they use a big machine to see if the liquid passes through your GB normally. Ultrasounds can indicate size, but this test shows if the stone is impeding your digestion process.

Apparently a majority of us have GB stones, and for most people they don't bother them.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Didn't they tell ND he didn't have gall bladder problems before finally finding something?
