Thank you, P-C, I was just limbering up the fingers to mention him.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

The MGM Grand has the lions on display. That's a good way to kill a half hour.
Or even more, if you get there when they're feeding the lions and the keepers play tug of war with the meat. I think all the observers were waiting for the keeper to get munched. There's a clear walkthrough, and lions like to lay on top of it and stare down at the monkey people.
The Fountains at the Bellagio are pretty, and the shops at Caesar's can occupy a whole lot of time, especially if you stop and watch the "sky" change color.
Where in Utah is your wedding? If you're coming through Provo--all of Utah County, for that matter--on I-15, *be warned* that there is major, major construction that will throw all time estimates off.
My movie morning matinee plans got scuttled by my mystery stomach pains that lay me out harder than most of my headaches. Ugh. The next step with those is to get my insides scanned. I need to get on that, to see if my organs are behaving. Because that pain ain't kidding around. I think it's mostly done now.
sarameg & lisah are you going to the under the bridge market tomorrow?
I'm probably going to be getting my uncle on the road tomorrow, so probably not, alas.
Had my cousin & her family over after a nice brunch at Clementine. An eight year old, a three year old and a six month old. Loki's recovering, didn't faze MK in the least (although I don't think he understood what the baby was!) and Devi....she shocked me. She stayed the whole time in the livingroom, in her cube, ignoring it all. She didn't even try to hide when they came roaring over to peer at her. SHOCKING.
Think I might go swimming soon.
eta: ita, that sounds alarming! And really really painful.
Yikes, ita! That does not sound good.
Burrell, depending on your hotel, there could be plenty of drinking and revelry at the pool!
I do think Sara should find a bike owner though so she'll have need to visit the shop.
I was going to say, Nora! Or BECOME a bike owner!
Speaking of bikes, they've started a bike rental thing here, and I'm considering trying to learn -- you can get one for a day for $5, and have it out for up to a half-hour for free.
Bicycle, right? Are you telling us you never learned to ride a bike, Jesse?
Thanks Matt, Connie, Jesse (heh)

Near Provo actually. I wish we could be there longer and I could meet up with you, but the timing is hard for me. Wedding is on a Saturday and I teach on the following Tuesday, so we need to leave Sunday right after the wedding. feh. I would prefer to stay for a week or so and take advantage of it as long as we are making the drive, but I'm not in charge of the itinerary.
Are you telling us you never learned to ride a bike, Jesse?
Yes, yes I am. I roller-skated!
Man, I really wish I had some chips. After the beach calls for chips! But I can't let myself go out just for chips. Maybe popcorn will do.
I can has a kitten and a SodaStream!
One of them cried all the way home in the car and panic-pooped in its carrier, poor noodle. He is hanging out in a nice quiet bathroom with food and water and litter until he's ready to deal with all this change in his circumstances.
The SodaStream just farts.
