Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry, le nubian.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm sorry, le nubian. You might want to crosspost in Bitches, where several people managing diabetes usually hang out.

ION, Highland Park is having a sidewalk sale all over downtown. One of the sidewalk vendors? A Lexus dealership.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks so much, Calli, Jesse, and Nora. I heartily concur that the world needs to let up on all of us.

le nubian, my mother has lived with Type II diabetes since I was 12 or 13. Please don't view the medicines as something bad, because they can help avert a lot of health issues later. Trying to manage it just with diet and exercise is good, but not if it leads to wild fluctuations in sugar levels. Most of her health issues today are a direct result of improper management early on because she thought she could control it without meds.

I wish you the best of luck in getting it under control. Much ~ma to you.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

thank you all. thanks ginger, I will do so. Bitches kind of scares me, but Bitches are what I likely need!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

MFNLaw, sound advice.

I am taking the meds as prescribed and if I'm not in normal territory with the meds, I won't try to go off them. I just want to treat this as aggressively as possible with a good outcome I hope.

Eye~ma to you, Toddson. My mom just had cataract surgery and it was quite the success. It's amazing how it has advanced in the last 20 years or so.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Eye~ma to Toddson and management~ma to LeN.

Like if people want to sit down and debate the merits of particular policies armed with data, I can dig that. My politics are pretty left in general, but I believe it is theoretically possible that some conservative policies could work better than my ideals.

This. A million times this.

le_nubian, I have diabetes, too (for ... eleven years now?). Profile address is good if you want to talk.

Maria, all kinds of ~ma to you and DH. I'm so sorry this year has handed you so much shit.
