Dear god, what the hell is wrong with people?
I'm still boggling about the woman who got convicted after her kid got killed by a drunk driver. Don't get me started on people.
The mother was convicted of vehicular homicide, since she and her three children crossed a busy street rather than walk a long distance to a crosswalk; she's facing, I believe, three years in prison. The driver - drunk, on pain pills, and with only one eye - did six months.
The judge obviously also thought this was insane. She was given probation and offered a new trial. [link]
Well, that's good to know.
Am I gonna have to start buying mac Old Spice stuff? Cause I kinda feel like I should.

Oh, good. You know what gets me about that case? None of the jurors had ever ridden public transit.
Oh, Gawker picked it up? Well, good--getting it out of niche/tech-geek circles may help.
And this is why I haven't signed up yet (not that Google cares about me).
JHM sent me an invite, so I signed up under one of my personas, and now I'm half persona, half me. We'll see. It's not an email address I'd really miss, but they tossed "Spidra Webster"? Seriously? What's that about?
