Oh, Gawker picked it up? Well, good--getting it out of niche/tech-geek circles may help.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

JHM sent me an invite, so I signed up under one of my personas, and now I'm half persona, half me. We'll see. It's not an email address I'd really miss, but they tossed "Spidra Webster"? Seriously? What's that about?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

When a Google+ account is dropped, does that drop the Gmail email associated with it as well?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It drops everything associated with the google account.

So that is how people lose long term accounts? If you already have a gmail or google account and upgrade to Google+, you can end up having the whole thing dropped if your Google+ name does not meet (unspecified) Google+ standards?
