I am having people over in two hours to watch Doctor Who. I should be showering and getting booze and snacks. Instead, I am writing Discworld fic. Priorities!

I slept IN, which was awesome.
I'm still on the fence about the shoes I bought yesterday -- they are Clark's, so very comfortable, but possibly too high for walking, on the balls of my feet. So last night I ordered some Zappos, which will be at my office tomorrow! I'll carry the other new shoes to work, and decide about both pairs there tomorrow. I love a plan.
I stayed up way too late watching Graham Norton on You Tube. Slept in until 9:45.
I have been awake for over two hours, but spent most of that time lying in bed trying to pretend I wasn't awake for good.
My cat finally woke me up because he thought I was late. Cats don't know what day it is!
I got up before 8 and am not happy about it. I'm thinking about going back to bed.
I woke up at 7:30, but convinced myself to sleep until 10:30. And had a dream that my workplace also had a dog adoption center and I was going to adopt a dog. After I shredded a bunch of documents. I ended up talking to my BFF, and we talked so long, the dog adoption place had closed, and we had to walk home.
Now I want a puppy!
Dagnabbit -- I just painted my toe nails (saving money!), and THEN thought I should shower. Oops.
I was up at 5:00 to take the DH to the airport. Luckily, tiny-yet-fabulous Bob Hope airport is only 10 minutes away, so I dropped him off, came home and went back to sleep. Just woke up at 9:30.
I slept in until 8: don't remember the last time I slept that late (when I wasn't sick). Took the dog for a run, and now I have a day in which I'm obligated to do nothing. I may do some laundry and some cooking.
I was planning to write, but I don't have the edits back from my beta. I suppose I could read Erinaceous' book, or watch Falling Skies, which I haven't tried yet.
