Good god! Did he cut off communication to the island or something?

Yeah, how could he be doing that for so long without cops arriving?
All the cops were busy dealing with the bomb situation in the city. They had to 1) find out about the island, realize it was that bad, and 2) get a swat team together.
Anyone else watching the Tour this morning? I spent $5 to watch it streaming and I realize how much I missed it
I will catch the 11:30 rerun of the Tour stage today, so no spoilers, please! After that, I will totally burble about it. The last few days have been really something.
I won't spoil but I will say it was good! And thanks for the warning!!

Holy... I don't even know what to say. That's just awful. Jesus, those poor kids.
I have a question that's primarily for Steph: Is there any reason Ambien CR should work worse than normal Ambien? I swear I'm getting less sleep with it than before.

Your body might not like it. I know that's not a science-y answer, but it's just a weird pharmacological thing that some drugs (or some formulations of drugs) do not play well with some people.
It's possible that because it's a CR formulation, which means it releases drug in a continuous manner, that you aren't getting *enough* drug when you need it. Like, maybe you need more at the beginning of your sleep cycle, but since the CR formulation doles it out over a span of time, you aren't getting enough.
That's just a guess, though. I'm sure you are far from alone. It's so frustrating that a given drug won't work the same in different people.
