Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

So my car Does Not Like temps and heat indexes such as we had today (and will for 3 more days. 103 down at the harbor, feels like 117.) AC barely could function, the clutch was verrrry soft and the brakes were mushy (or that might've been the tires. Effect was the same.)

Thank god I don't have a long drive. I'd not have noticed it except I had to drive to the other Y.

The status is NOT quo.

You guys! I'm leaving for Spain tomorrow!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My boss is gone for the day. The office is pretty quiet. And there's not much I can do on any of my projects until various people respond to me.

Can I slip out the back door and take the dog for a run?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

You guys! I'm leaving for Spain tomorrow!

Poble Espanyol!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The atmosphere at the office is *so* different since the gossip-worthy thing that just happened. It's really weird, and I totally wouldn't have predicted it.

There's a co-worker farewell tonight in Torrance.

Uh, no? There is also a farewell lunch for him tomorrow, which I will totally attend. But I'm not driving to Torrance to not bowl.

Different in a good way or a bad way, ita?

I am being driven nuts by work lately, and am afraid I'm showing it...my boss called me and we talked about the status of some of the crazy making things, and then she called me back a few minutes later to say she knows I"m working hard and she's sorry it's so crazy. Uh, OK. Make it less crazy please?

I'm feeling tired and lazy and don't want to go do anything (gym, shoe purchasing, or even the sexy-times-for-ladies stripping event (mostly cause it's $15)). Is 5PM too early to go to bed, or too late to take a nap?

Because books.

Spain! London!

I just want to run away to, like, Fiji and work on a fishing boat or something. Anyone want to come?

I bet getting wifi will be a problem, though.

In a good way, and it's kind of freaking me out. I didn't realise it needed improving, but I guess it did. However, the changes could be undone, and I have no idea what the atmosphere would be like then.
