"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Erin,

also, FWIW, credit agencies like a long credit history with the same account. So get a credit card and keep it for 10+ years. Even if you use it only occasionally.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Met up with a college friend of Gary's(who was our best man), his wife and son for dinner.

PUPPY!

I've had the same credit card since college. I still use it as my main, since it has my picture on it, so some level of protection in person at least. I'm also on one with my parents (for their convenience, don't know if it shows up in my credit) and have at least one or two others that are dormant (were tied into bank accounts for overdraft protection,) plus a Home Depot one (to get 10% off washer, dryer and 3 a/c units) and then the one that is tied to my mortgage. It's a little nuts. I asked the mortgage guy about it, and he said the ones I don't use weren't hurting me at all, especially since they were so old.

OMG, y'all. Crazy pool night. When I got home, it was storming, so I waited and called. Went over at 5. Had JUST put my legs in and a kid gets a nosebleed. Pool closed for 30 minutes. So I wait and chat with one of the other regular lappers. And the number of lappers waiting grows. When we finally get in, we've got 4 in one lane and 3 in another. MAYHEM. Actually not, since we were all at basically the same pace. Um, which I apparently was driving. The thing is, when I'm sharing like that, I swim faster so as to not be the one someone has to pass. And all these ladies like to use me as a pacer when it is just the two of us because my "normal" pace is a tad faster than theirs. So needless to say, we were all EXHAUSTED by the end. Because I was maintaining a 55.5s pace. Which is nuts, even for me, for the whole mile and a half. I usually don't see that until the last 1/4 mile of a long swim, nevermind the WHOLE THING.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

PT went well today, actually got to work on some strengthening exercises. And now I'm sore. Heating pad is being applied.

My credit is so far in the dumps, I doubt I'd be able to get a secured credit card.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson told me it was important to have someone at work you could bitch to/gossip with, and I mostly don't do that in a work environment, but damn am I missing it now.

Went over and cranked the ac for my friend who has been out of town all week (I've been catsitting) and won't get back until late. Figured since her flight has been delayed over 4 hours now, she might appreciate a cool-er house. One of the units mystified me though, so it just might be circulating air.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

so I JUST finished the online application and %$%$%^ Excel test that this interview required. I got 100% on the Excel test, but it took forever to do because I had to download some java crap, then start my machine over twice. grrr, I just want my current job to magically come with benefits and not have to do this anymore.

I found out that I now qualify for reduced school lunches for mac, I am kinda shocked and depressed, but I will fill out the forms and take it since my income really is well below their level.

msbelle, WIC and CHIP got my brother's family through his undergrad (and meant the boys had good medical coverage.) Don't let it get to you, if you can.

DOGS!!

so here are the dogs: [link] #6,8 & 11 were all in one pen and all nice. There was also a Husky there that wasn't barking at all, but it was not yet available for adoption. And there was a Shih Tzu that is not up on their page that was very sweet.
