I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

You are in a strange and wondrous land, Allyson. Pics?

TJs: They have this sort of cookie thing that is essentially chocolate poured over nuts and allowed to harden. It is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten, and I have to make a point of not looking at it when I shop there, or I'll never eat anything else. Also, the wine is good for the price (Twisted Vines Cab. Sav.), and I really like their frozen mac and cheese.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know about your supermarkets, but TJ's milk is cheaper than mine. I don't buy a lot of pre-made food, so I don't get it there, either, but yogurt, milk, coffee are all cheaper and often better than the supermarket.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There really are no words for how jealous I am of Allyson for being at TAM 9 From Outer Space. NO WORDS.

Please post often so I can live vicariously through you, okay?

I saw Richard Dawkins wearing dark sunglasses indoors.

Was he being followed into an elevator by a horde of women chewing gum?

Compassionately intolerant

I don't eat much in the way of processed food, but TJ's curry tuna is a) delish and b) $1.65 per meal. Yumtummy.

Yes, please do. And especially anything about Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have 11 days until I leave for Vegas!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And I have 13 days before I get to see Cashmere!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I saw Richard Dawkins wearing dark sunglasses indoors.

Was he being followed into an elevator by a horde of women chewing gum?

Please, please say yes, even if he wasn't. Just imagining it gives me a mean little happy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Should I wear the granny boots or the oxfords to work today? I'm wearing a red turtleneck, gored denim knee length skirt, and red tights.

You have until I finish brushing my teeth to decide. Please help.
