I just spent way too long with a supervisor at Amazon customer service explaining why the rep who called me "Lizzie" was rude and insulting.

World Cup Spoilers:
If the US can hold on for the next twelve minutes--eh, who am I kidding? They're getting out-shot 3:1. They'll never survive overtime at this rate.

ION, work is still going well. They want me to take on some new marketing efforts and it taps into my long ago used skills as a fundraiser (organizing address lists, ranking potential customers, writing appeal letters, brochure and web designs, messaging....). They have a pink Sharpie at my desk also, so I think they are keepers.
My office's power is still out. I called my boss and was telling her how frustrated I was getting with not being able to get things done, and then I mentioned that maybe I could update stuff on our intranet if I could access it from my home computer. Turns out I can! (Me and my big mouth.)
So, after I get back from the grocery store for a restock of my fridge and freezer, I'm going to start working on updating our chapter number lists, which I've been getting behind on this past week due to working on something I cannot access from home. I'll put in four hours today, and then if the power is still out at the office tomorrow, another eight hours then. I'm still going to take the half-day I was planning on taking Friday afternoon, though, so I can get my car fixed up before seeing HP7.2.
