Drew Lachey has been on Broadway, too, and Dancing With the Stars, and various low-tier hosting gigs that probably pay just fine. [link]

Also, he's been married to his high school sweetheart since 2000! Aw.

I don't want to leave ING: I use it for parental-related stuff and I get direct transfers from my siblings into the account. Moving elsewhere would be a major PITA.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy birthdays!

You guys are talking about Drew Lachey and Nick just sang the national anthem for a race, I am told. I skip that part. But Twitter says it totally happened.

not your mom's socks.

Does anyone have wise words about indoor allergens (especially after some home repair) and what the hell to do to fix them? I'm not sure, but this is the second time since we had the repairs done that I've felt far better after a night away from the house and returning home is like being hit with a lead pipe. I don't want to have a sick house, but I'm also sick and tired of whatever is going on with my sinuses, and the pollen count has dropped here, and I'm pretty convinced that I'm not allergic to Philly. Hivemind please help a girl out?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

What kind of repairs, Sox?

not your mom's socks.

A really nasty popcorn ceiling in my office and the downstairs hall ceiling both taken out, new drywall. We cleaned really well after, we thought.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's a lot of particle causing repairs. What kind of heating/ac system do you have? Lots of dust can get caught up in ventilation.

Central. Would it still be circulating in July if the work was mostly done in may? Eta: and march and April. We've changed filters in the spring and then again tonight. DH is out looking at air cleaners, but I could try to get the ducts cleaned too. Really, I'll do anything to get this to stop.

And thanks so much for helping me talk this through. I feel like I'm going crazy.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am cautiously optimistic about Capital One, we use them for our banking at work, and I just opened an account with them for the express purpose of holding fundraising money before it gets transferred to the donation account.
