Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In the non-electronic age, deposits were available the next day, so it sort of seems like bank BS.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, that's infuriating, Pix. And, yeah, worse yet, the bigger the check the longer they'll sit on it. But yours sounds especially evil - not that it helps that much when there are lots of bills and payroll and whatnot due, but the bank and credit union Hec and I are with will usually make $75-100 available the second you make the deposit, and then lag a day or so on the remainder. I can't believe you made your deposit Tuesday and they wouldn't even release a token amount until today.

Crazymaking bullshit. And, of course, they don't hesitate to hit you with overdraft fees for the crappy results of their bullshit, and the fees that will just about crush an individual or small business are less than pocket change to the banks.

Compassionately intolerant

Notice the phrase "trying to" above?

One day at a time Sister. Stay strong.

Yeah, PC, it certainly seems like there are a lot of Juicy bums around here. Today's contribution, however, was 'California' on light blue sweats.

This should be a campaign by the Tourism Bureau.

If people are willing to pay top dollar to advertise consumer goods, why not vacation spots?

The status is NOT quo.

JZ, they did release $200 on Tuesday; it's just that that doesn't cut it for payroll and rent purposes. It just brought the account out of the red for a day. Sigh. Anyway, at least the money is there. Or will be eventually.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I wonder what kind of float that would make?

Green.

The bank wasted an hour and a half of my time yesterday with that same stupid thing, Pix. I deposited a check at an ATM and was waiting for the receipt with the picture of the check. Instead, the ATM screen said it couldn't print the receipt and then flashed to "Windows is shutting down." For obvious reasons, I was concerned about whether the deposit had gone through.

Then an amount less than the check showed up as a deposit. Usually when they hold something, online banking shows "X deposited, Y available," but it didn't. I called customer service, and the person said I had to go to the branch in person. Then I sat for an hour watching a bank person on hold. It turns out they had held part of the check. If he could find that out on the phone, why couldn't the customer "service" person?

After that, I stopped at Home Depot, where the person paying in front of me paid in ones.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I hate banks. I'm trying to decide which one to use down here, since my awesome credit union is only in NC. They do deposits first, then withdrawals, the fees are minimal, and you get two fee-free NSF days a year.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have to give my credit union some props. I had screwed up when making a deposit and keyed in 7.40 instead of 740.00. I realized my mistake the following day, after flying to California and just as K-Bug and I were leaving for the big drive. I called the credit union and within an hour they were able to credit the full amount to my account. Total gold star moment.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

What should I do with blueberries?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Pie is always a good answer. If there aren't enough for that, pancakes would work.
