Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Drug knowledgeable types...taking Flexeril and Vicodin together. Ok or bad idea?

Don't drive, nothing to drink (vicodin has acetaminophen) and kiss your productivity goodbye. Basically, go to bed. And, clearly, feel better.

Depending on the dosages you have, I'd start with half. 5 for the flexeril and ... damn, I don't know vicodin dosing offhand. There's a big pill and a smaller pill. If you have the bigger, I'd start with half.

YMMV and we're all different and all of that. If the smaller doses didn't help me in about 30 minutes, I'd take the rest. But that combination might just knock it out.

I'm strictly diet ginger ale and diet tonic for soda. I had a wicked full octane coke and dr.pepper habit in college, but when I moved up here all broke, I quit buying it (it was heavily subsidized by my physics dept) and have never gone back.

Now if only the storms that ended my swim would actually give us some rain... We need it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am now regretting that I didn't have the foresight to have Pete pick up vanilla ice cream at the store, because then I would make some rose soda and have a rose float. Calorie-wise, it's a bad idea. But damn, it sounds tasty.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I took one Flexeril and one 5-500 Vicodin. So far, no relief. I just want to cry. Luckily I see my doc at 7:30 am tomorrow.

The status is NOT quo.

I’m having a bit of a rage blackout about banks. Why is it okay, again, for these multibillion dollar corporations to put a hold on our damned deposits? Because I’m pretty sure our small business can cover it a whole lot less than theirs can. I’ve cleaned out every account we have to cover payroll this week and will overdraw at least one account tomorrow, and the check to cover all of it is SITTING IN THE ACCOUNT. I hate banks.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Mmm, rose soda sounds good.

I'm not a big soda drinker, but lately we've been drinking a lot of non-sweet sodas, like lime soda water, etc. Mixing them with fruit juice for the kids. Feels very summery and refreshing.

Today we: did 4 loads of laundry, read books, did the grocery shopping, oh and Franny did some story writing while Isaac played with Legos. Now they are elbow deep in some pretend magic game. Not sure if it's Potter-related or not.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Why is it okay, again, for these multibillion dollar corporations to put a hold on our damned deposits?

You can put a hold on a deposit? Like, you have deposited a valid check, and they won't put the money into your account? The hell?

Yes, P-C, it happens all the time. It’s actually better than it used to be with the regulations that went through last year.

We deposited it on Tuesday. They will release the first chunk today but won’t release the rest until next Tuesday. If we didn’t have rent checks for the house and office and two weeks of payroll to worry about, this might not be a problem. As it is, it’s a problem.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, they do it all the time. We were in the same sitch recently, Pix, and a donor ended up wiring the money in, because at least then it wouldn't sit. But we got hit with fees anyway.

My sistah in bank hatred, Liese.
