Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am trying to and cut way down on Diet Dr. Pepper, my main elixir of life beverage. I am down to one bottle of caffeinated in the morning. I am trying to stick to still and bubbly water for the rest of the day.

Notice the phrase "trying to" above? Yeah, am on my second bottle of DDP today.....

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We also talked about the trend, which I find alarming, of using the seat section of sweatpants and short for advertising.

What, she just thinks she has a JUICY behind.

Because books.

Drug knowledgeable types...taking Flexeril and Vicodin together. Ok or bad idea?

If you're ready for bed, I think it should be okay. But I wouldn't expect to be any kind of alert or productive. Or driving, god forbid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just spent a bit of time vanity googling my entire family. If you google me+lastname, my sister and her last name, my mother and her maiden+married name, and my father's chosen name in quotation marks, our photos are the first ones that come up in the image search. Now, for my sister, that's hardly surprising. She is the only person, it seems, with her name. But there are maybe five or six of me, and I TOTALLY WIN. I think it's nifty that what my parents choose to go by is also sufficiently distinctive.

Also, my sister's name is all over the web, but not as much as my mother. At least I understand half of what my sister is talking about. And my father seems to have spent his entire retirement writing letters to the editor.

Good luck, Consuela!

I prefer Coke to Pepsi, but will drink either.

Sheryl is me, but with the reverse preference. I stopped knowingly consuming sweetener about a year or so ago, and I try to watch my pop consumption, but I go through phases. If it's in the house I will drink it.

Sigh. Clio is chewing her feet again, and she's still on the antihistamines. I suspect Monday's dentist appt, will have a vet appt. pile on.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Fingers crossed, Suela.

The funniest thing about the Polar Bear article was this:

even ancient humans probably crossbred with Neanderthals.

because it made me think of Clan of the Cave Bear.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Drug knowledgeable types...taking Flexeril and Vicodin together. Ok or bad idea?

Don't drive, nothing to drink (vicodin has acetaminophen) and kiss your productivity goodbye. Basically, go to bed. And, clearly, feel better.

Depending on the dosages you have, I'd start with half. 5 for the flexeril and ... damn, I don't know vicodin dosing offhand. There's a big pill and a smaller pill. If you have the bigger, I'd start with half.

YMMV and we're all different and all of that. If the smaller doses didn't help me in about 30 minutes, I'd take the rest. But that combination might just knock it out.

I'm strictly diet ginger ale and diet tonic for soda. I had a wicked full octane coke and dr.pepper habit in college, but when I moved up here all broke, I quit buying it (it was heavily subsidized by my physics dept) and have never gone back.

Now if only the storms that ended my swim would actually give us some rain... We need it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I am now regretting that I didn't have the foresight to have Pete pick up vanilla ice cream at the store, because then I would make some rose soda and have a rose float. Calorie-wise, it's a bad idea. But damn, it sounds tasty.
