Reynolds, I'm a dangerous-minded man on a ship loaded with hurt. Now, why you got me chatting with your peons?

Art Crawl!!!

OMG!

What a bad idea.

Penguin (books) just tweeted the link to the Official Bloodlines facebook page. Is it for a movie or a tv show?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mmm. Hot and muggy. Of course, I'm wearing a turtle-necked sweater dress today, but still, I love hot and muggy.

Neither, it's a new book series spun off from the Vampire Academy books. First book comes out in August.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

This is not simply a gratuitous comparison, as there's at least one point of contention between the two in which Mayr is fairly scornful of Dawkins' position.

Punctuated equilibrium, I presume.

Polgara - so the casting is just "dreamcasting" - not really about anything?

Okay, see this dress? That belt? Not remotely near my waist. Sometimes I don't know why I try.

Men may need more cuddling. Is this only straight men, though?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am pro-nut, pro-raisin in zuchini bread and oatmean (but NSM cookies) and pro-chocolate chips in cookies, but not brownies.

Brownies should have walnuts or pecans in them, and be served warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream or real whipped cream. In fact, they should be served to me like this right NOW.

::stares hard at desk: No brownies::

Dammit. Will have to settle for more coffee.

We're supposed to be getting an aquarium in KC! The closest one is in Omaha; I've not been to that one.

I went to the NOLA aquarium before Katrina, and it was really cool. They had an exhibit of bioluminescent sealife, which was neat as hell!

Seconded.

I went climbing last night and then there was no chicken mole, but I got a really great Crab Louis salad, with enormous chunks of crab on it (I suspect the kitchen decided nobody else was going to order it and gave me all the remaining crab). However I think I have to accept the fact that I'm not in my 30s anymore, and I should stop drinking pints of IPA on weeknights. Bah.

Slept badly, and I'm not sure if I can blame the beer or the dog, whose nails need to be clipped.

ita - but would the belt have to be there? Couldn't it be adjusted?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am blaming the lawnmower and having a much cooler day to look forward to, so my windows were all wide open. But that really just meant a bad wakeup. The sleep was just too little because I got enthralled into new science books. As you do.

I am out of real coffee.
