Peanut Butter and Mushroom soup seems wrong. I like mushrooms a lot, but I never forget I am eating fungus.

I an pro-mushroom. I don't think of them in the same realm as toe rot. Peanuts and mushrooms I don't see the appeal.

I recall a trip to New Orleans years ago where I was coming down with the sore throat portion of a flu when friends and I went out to eat at K-Paul's. Everyone thought I was crazy for ordering spicy jambalaya and eating it with tears streaming down my face.
Until they had a taste of it themselves, that is.
