I am watching Romancing the Stone- and one thing I never understood was how cutting the heels off her high heeled shoes makes them more practical. It just seems like it would be really uncomfortable because the arch is still there.
I figured the rest of the shoe would break down pretty quickly.
I actually have that at home, I should re-watch it, it holds up pretty well.
I don't know why that is one little sticking point, but I also feel like Joan would have brought practical walking shoes.
For some reason, I only like Michael Douglas in movies with Kathleen Turner.
Her practical walking shoes may have been in the suitcase that got flung over the cliff.
Turner had some excellent damned legs.
