I am watching Romancing the Stone- and one thing I never understood was how cutting the heels off her high heeled shoes makes them more practical. It just seems like it would be really uncomfortable because the arch is still there.
I figured the rest of the shoe would break down pretty quickly.
I actually have that at home, I should re-watch it, it holds up pretty well.
I don't know why that is one little sticking point, but I also feel like Joan would have brought practical walking shoes.
